KVAC dedicated an EMS Tree of Life at the Poland Village Green on Wednesday, May 21, 2008. The tree was dedicated to all EMS providers past, present and future who provide medical assistance to residents and visitors to the Kuyahoora Valley. This ceremony wasis one activity KVAC conducted as part of National EMS Week, May 18-24. The National EMS Tree of Life in Roanoke, Virginia is a memorial to all EMS providers who have died in the line of duty. Each name is placed on a leaf of the tree. The tree dedicated by KVAC will be a living red-bud tree chosen for its beauty and distinct growth pattern.EMS Tree of Life
